When I first met Tommy (over twenty years ago), he asked me, “What do the students need?”  This question inspired the work we continue to do today:  support the pursuit of higher education among students who are the first in their families to attend college. Many of our kids are not eligible for federal aid; the scholarships provided by Back to Our Roots ensure that all kids have access to college.  His support is not only financial.  He loves the kids! Tommy has been instrumental in raising funds that often cover the cost of books, housing or transportation to and from campus. Those additional expenses can often overwhelm our families.  We, teachers, are grateful for his support, and we will continue to work tirelessly on behalf of our students at PCHS. With the financial support from Back to Our Roots, we can help students to realize their dreams.
